Stone often shares the house with tile and wood floors, and outdoor stone and pavers are handled with pressure washing instead.
Stone floors often run into tile in the kitchen or bath, and the grout between them collects the same grime. Ceramic, porcelain and Saltillo are steamed at high pressure during tile and grout cleaning, and the grout lines can be color sealed afterward. Hardwood floor cleaning is the gentlest of the three, lifting dirt and buildup without damage to the wood, and it uses our own Kelly Green Cleaning Solutions.
Outdoor pavers, driveways and stone steps are a different job from a marble bath. Pressure washing takes mold, moss, algae and ground-in dirt off those surfaces, and a surface cleaner evens out the spray on stone patios and steps. Each material gets its own pressure setting and detergent, which is how the grime comes off without etching the surface underneath.
