Upholstery Cleaning in Ventura
Upholstery Cleaning for Homes and Businesses
Couches, sofas, sectionals, chairs and other upholstered furniture in Ventura homes and businesses get upholstery cleaning from Kelly Cleaning. A truck-mounted steam clean pulls out dirt, dust mites, pet odors and tough stains, most fabrics handle it safely, and pre-spotting comes free on every job. Pieces that need more go to The Ultimate Rug Spa on Donlon Street. Family-owned since 1978.

Dust mites live in upholstered furniture, carpet and bedding, and the EPA recommends vacuuming carpets and furniture every week to help control them.

Same room, same dust
The sofa sits on carpet, a rug or a wood floor, and the dust in the room comes partly from the vents.
The carpet under a sofa takes the crumbs, pet hair and spills that miss the cushions. Carpet cleaning moves the hoses from the sofa to the floor, running off the same truck-mounted hot water unit, and pre-spotting and stain treatment cost nothing extra. Rug cleaning takes rugs out of the house to The Ultimate Rug Spa, whose wash machine came over from Turkey, and small repairs are done there too.
Where the furniture stands on wood, hardwood floor cleaning clears the grime and old polish that collect in the paths around it. Air duct cleaning goes after one source of the dust: the RotoBrush scrubs and vacuums the ducts while HEPA filtration holds what comes out, so less dust and dander circulate back onto the fabric.

In-Home Couch Cleaning
Couch and Sofa Cleaning in Your Home
A sectional is hard to get out the door, so we clean it where it sits. The truck parks outside, the hoses come in, and the couch is cleaned in your Ventura living room without anyone moving it. We work around your day and keep the disruption as small as we can.
One customer had a 16-year-old sectional, chaise and ottoman that had lived with two dogs for 15 years and was about to be replaced. Nothing else fit the space, so it got a steam clean instead and came out looking new. A piece does not have to be heavily soiled before it is worth cleaning, and regular cleaning helps it last.

Our Process
Pre-Spotting, Steam Extraction and Drying
Each piece is checked first: the fabric, whether the colors are stable, and what the stains are. The tough spots get pre-spotting, free of charge, before the main clean begins. That clean pushes hot water and cleaning solution into the upholstery, and a high-powered vacuum draws it right back out, carrying the loosened dirt along with it.
When we finish, fans are placed around the piece so it dries faster. Most fabrics take this method without trouble, and our technicians are trained in what different upholstery materials and designs require, so a piece is handled according to what it is made of and how it was built.
- Fabric Checkthe material comes first
- Color Testdyes checked before cleaning
- Free Pre-Spottingon the toughest spots
- Hot Water Extractionsolution in, dirt out
- High-Powered Vacuumloosened dirt pulled away

Questions About Upholstery Cleaning
Talk to the family-owned team that has been cleaning homes and businesses in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties since 1978. Quotes are free and most estimates can be scheduled the same week.
How much does upholstery cleaning cost in Ventura?
Every upholstery cleaning quote in Ventura is free and based on your actual job rather than a price list, so reach us at (805) 644-5308 or request a quote online, and new Ventura customers take 10% off the first service.
Can my couch be cleaned without leaving my home?
Yes. Our equipment stays on the truck at the curb, the hoses run inside, and the couch is cleaned right where it is.
Will steam cleaning hurt the fabric on my sofa?
Most fabrics are fine with it. Before any water touches the sofa, we look at the material and test whether the colors run.
Can you remove pet odor from a couch?
Yes. The extraction lifts pet odors out together with the dirt, dust mites and stains, and pre-spotting is included free.
How long until I can sit on my furniture again?
Drying time varies with the fabric, how much air moves through the room and the day’s weather, and the fans we put out shorten it.
Which shop handles furniture that needs deeper care?
The Ultimate Rug Spa at 1445 Donlon St. It takes upholstered pieces in for deeper cleaning, and the same shop handles area rug cleaning in Ventura.
Do you clean office and waiting room furniture?
Yes. Office chairs, waiting rooms and lobby seating get the same upholstery service as a couch at home, and for the rest of the building there are our other Ventura services.
