Around the rug
These are the surfaces that share a room with a rug: wall-to-wall carpet, upholstered furniture and the hard floor underneath.
With the rug gone to the shop, the carpet and furniture it shares a room with can be cleaned at home. Carpet cleaning runs off a truck-mounted unit, so the hot water extraction happens with only hoses brought indoors, and upholstery cleaning applies the same method to sofas, sectionals and chairs. Both include free pre-spotting on the worst stains.
Hardwood floor cleaning fits in here because the floor under a rug collects grit too, and it is easiest to reach while the rug is out of the house. Our technicians take up old polish along with dirt and grime and leave the finish unharmed, which returns the wood to its natural color. Minor restoration is possible on some floors too.

Area Rug Cleaning for Homes
Heirloom rugs and everyday ones alike take in sand and damp air in a beach town, and the grit works down into the pile where vacuuming cannot reach it. A rug can look clean on top and still be wearing out from underneath.
Carpinteria, on the south coast about 12 miles southeast of Santa Barbara, is part of our Santa Barbara County service area along with Santa Barbara and Montecito. Rugs are washed at The Ultimate Rug Spa in Ventura, so ask about pickup when you book, or drop the rug off when you are in town.
