Showing Thanks, One Shine at a Time

This November, Kelly Cleaning is giving thanks the best way we know how — through service and appreciation.

Our loyal client, Myers, Widders, Gibson, Jones & Feingold, LLP, has trusted us with their janitorial cleaning needs since 2020. To show our appreciation for their continued partnership, we recently provided a complimentary specialty cleaning service, giving their office’s interior glass panels a sparkling refresh.

Dia duit, lads and lasses! Sierge, the Cleaning Concierge, here to help ye survive — I mean, thrive — this Thanksgiving season! Whether you’re hosting a grand feast or a cozy dinner, here’s a step-by-step guide to make sure your home looks as warm and welcoming as a hearth on a chilly Irish night.

🍂 A Few Weeks Before the Feast:

Make your guest list and send out those invites — don’t wait till the turkey’s thawing!
Deep clean your kitchen surfaces, oven, and fridge (they’ll be working overtime soon).
Check your table linens, dishware, and decorations — wash or polish as needed.
Order any cleaning supplies or specialty tools early. (Kelly Tech Center at 2300 Knoll Dr. Ste. B in Ventura has everything ye might need!)

🕰️ A Few Days Before:

Shop for your groceries and beverages.
Clear out fridge space — those leftovers need room too!
Vacuum and dust your main living spaces and guest rooms.
Set up a “kids’ zone” or activity corner if the wee ones are coming.
Prep anything you can in advance — sides, desserts, and decorations.

⏰ The Day Of:

Light candles or use a bit of essential oil for that cozy holiday scent.
Do a quick bathroom tidy — fresh towels, soap, and a scented candle go a long way.
Wipe down counters and clear the entryway to welcome guests with ease.
Most importantly, take a breath and pour yourself a wee glass — you’ve earned it!
