Summer Cleaning Spotlight: Schools Rejuvenated
When summer rolls around, our Kelly Cleaning team hits the ground running – cleaning, polishing, and prepping schools for the year ahead. This year, as students ventured off for vacation, our skilled technicians were hard at work restoring schools across Ventura County to their pristine best.
From Villanova Preparatory School to The Thacher School and Child Development Resources, we provided comprehensive floor care – stripping and waxing hard surfaces, steam-cleaning carpets, and revitalizing area rugs. With nearly two consecutive months of late-night efforts, our crew brought fresh energy to school hallways, classrooms, and offices, ensuring every space welcomed students with gleaming floors.

Banishing the Beasties from Your Bathroom
Dia Duit lasses and lads! Ah now, if there’s one place in the home that can sneak up on ya like a mischievous leprechaun, it’s the bathroom grout! Those wee dark spots of mildew and mold love to make themselves at home in the tile lines. But don’t be frettin’ – Sierge’s got a trick or two up his sleeve.
First, mix up a grand wee potion: equal parts baking soda and white vinegar. Give it a stir, then spread it along the grout with an old toothbrush (the scrubbier, the better!). Let it fizz and bubble like a pint of stout for 10 minutes, then scrub away those beasties and rinse well. For stubborn spots, a dash of hydrogen peroxide will finish the job nicely.
But if the thought of kneelin’ in the shower with a brush in hand makes your back ache just thinkin’ about it, give Kelly Cleaning a shout. We’ll have those tiles gleamin’ like a rainbow after a summer rain-quick as you please!

Reggae Sunday Series – Every Sunday @ Ventura Harbor Village (1–4 PM): Enjoy laid-back island tunes, live reggae bands, and ocean breezes—perfect for a family stroll or relaxed afternoon.
Seaside Live Music Weekend – Select Saturdays & Sundays @ Waterfront Promenade (1–4 PM): Local talents like The CocoKnots and The Salty Misfits turn the promenade into a summer concert hall by the sea.
Canyon Fire Update – As of August 10: The Canyon Fire, near Lake Piru, has scorched over 5,370 acres and is now 96% contained. Evacuation orders in LA and Ventura counties have been lifted. Stay safe and informed.
Gifford Fire – Now the largest fire this year in California: Spanning 122,000 acres across San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, the Gifford Fire remains 33% contained as of August 10.
