Red, White & Thank You: A Tribute to Our Technicians
July is a time for fireworks, flags, and showing gratitude and not just to our country, but to the incredible people who help keep it clean and running. This month, we want to shine a spotlight on our hardworking cleaning technicians and the beautiful expressions of appreciation they’ve recently received from our customers.
Over the past few weeks, our technicians have been gifted with handwritten thank-you notes from clients, recognizing their after-hours dedication and quality of service. These small gestures speak volumes, and we’re thrilled to share some of these touching notes with you in this issue.
At Kelly Cleaning, we believe in showing gratitude at every level: from our technicians who go above and beyond, to our loyal clients who have been with us through the years. It’s this mutual appreciation that keeps our business strong and our community clean.

Dia Duit lasses and lads! Sierge here with another golden nugget of cleaning wisdom for the fine summer season. With the sun blazing and Independence Day flags flying, it’s a fine time to give your awnings a wee bit of love!
Here’s a simple DIY method to make those storefront or patio awnings sparkle:
- 🪑 Step 1: If removable, take down the fabric awning and lay it flat.
- 🌊 Step 2: Mix a gentle detergent with warm water.
- ✂️ Step 3: Use a soft brush to scrub both sides of the material.
- ☔️ Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with a hose and allow to air dry.
If your awning can’t be removed, use a sturdy ladder and follow the same steps in place—just be sure to keep safety first, aye!
If it all sounds a bit too fiddly, or you’d rather avoid the ladder entirely, give us a ring at Kelly Cleaning. We’ll get it done safely and efficiently.
