Powerfully Clean: Pressure Washing in Ojai

With longer days and warmer weather, May is the perfect month to freshen up outdoor spaces and our Kelly Technicians have been doing just that! One of our recent projects took place in Ojai, where we provided a full-service pressure washing for a local private school.

The job was extensive, covering multiple walkways and staircases throughout the school grounds. Our team, armed with high-efficiency pressure washing equipment and handheld tools, efficiently removed grime, algae, and built-up residue from the heavily trafficked areas. While this particular job focused on walkways and stairwells, it’s worth noting that Kelly Cleaning also provides pressure washing services for a wide range of surfaces including building exteriors made of stucco, wood, concrete, and more. Whatever the surface, we have the tools and expertise to leave it spotless and refreshed.

We know water conservation is on many people’s minds, especially here in California. That’s why it’s worth noting: a pressure washer uses roughly 2–5 gallons per minute, compared to a standard garden hose which can use up to 24 gallons per minute. That means pressure washing not only gets the job done faster, but it’s also significantly more water-efficient.

Ah, the humble ceiling fan keeping us cool in the heat but all too often forgotten when it comes to cleaning. Dust builds up fast, and if you’ve turned one on lately and seen a flurry of fluff fly off… well, you know it’s time.

Here’s a safe and simple way to tackle it:

Step 1: Turn off the fan and grab a step stool or ladder.
Step 2: Slip an old pillowcase over each blade, one at a time. Wipe and trap the dust inside.
Step 3: For stuck-on grime, use a mixture of water and a tiny drop of dish soap inside the pillowcase.
Step 4: Dry each blade with a microfiber cloth.
