Schools Sparkle After Summer with Kelly Cleaning
While Ventura County families were soaking up summer vacations, the Kelly Cleaning team was hard at work bringing brilliance back to classrooms, dorms, and campuses. Each summer is our busiest time of the year, and 2025 was no exception.
Our technicians rolled up their sleeves to serve schools such as Villanova Preparatory, The Thacher School, Cate, Child Development Resources, and this year’s new additions – Sycamore Elementary and Garden Grove Elementary. From stripping and waxing VCT floors to carpet steam cleaning, window washing, pressure washing, solar panel cleaning, dorm room care, and post-construction cleanup – our team delivered top-quality results at every step.
The long days (and many late nights) our technicians put in ensure that students and staff return to clean, safe, and welcoming environments. We couldn’t be prouder of their commitment and results.
A heartfelt thank-you to our school partners for trusting us again this year – and to our incredible technicians who make these large-scale summer projects shine brighter than ever!

Sierge here, and with the summer camps all wrapped up and the kiddos back to school, it’s the perfect time to show your hardworking dryer some love. A clogged vent can waste energy, shorten the life of your machine, and even pose a fire hazard. But don’t be worryin’—with a few common tools, you can tackle it yourself:
You’ll need:
- A screwdriver (flathead or Phillips)
- A vacuum with a hose attachment
- A dryer vent brush or flexible cleaning rod
- A soft cloth
Steps:
- Unplug the dryer for safety.
- Pull it away from the wall and disconnect the vent hose.
- Use the brush or rod to loosen lint from inside the hose and wall vent.
- Vacuum up all lint and dust.
- Reconnect everything snugly, wipe down the outside, and plug the dryer back in.
